After I graduated High School I was browsing at Desert Book with Mom and I came upon this book. I knew I had to have it and the $3 price tag sealed the deal. Mom says, "But? You just graduated!" My response? "College, mom. I have yet to graduate college!"

Now I don't know if this book was meant for high schoolers or college goers, but it was meant for me. Each page has either a ridiculous laughable feat ("Have an 'All Chocolate' Day") or something that will really help me in my life if I take it seriously ("Make a Budget and Stick To It").

I've decided this summer is the time. I will finish every one of the 101 things this summer and blog my little heart out about each one.

I'm convinced this will help me truly find another side of myself. As Uma Thurman says,
"I believe there should be at least two sides of a woman--if not 20."

Mothers DAY!

This is Mom.

She is my best friend.

She always knows what to say and how to say it.

She is beautiful, outside and in.

She has an amazing testimony.

She makes me laugh.

She cries when I cry.

She is the most amazing woman I know, each year I learn things that make that even more true.

I can tell her anything and everything, and I do.

She helps me be a better person every day, every hour, every minute.

If I had champagne glasses, I would toast this woman for being the best Mom I know.

Love you Mommy!!

You've Got A Friend In Me

This is what I realized last night. Everyone needs friends. You can find a friend in a sister, a classmate, a cousin. Friends are there for you when you think you don't need them. Friends are there for you when you could not survive without them. Friends will laugh with you, friends will cry with you, friends will help you carry heavy boxes every which way when you are moving out/in with no benefit to them. :) Here's to all the friends in my life!! I love you all!
