Fourth of July weekend brought the family reunion in Scofield. We roasted giant marshmallows, read some magazines, went into "town" and walked through the booths they had set up while listening to someone sing karaoke "My Baby Bumblebee", and watched the brothers play basketball!
And even through the "Is this the finale yet?" "Oh I think this is the finale, now we can go home and go to bed!" "These are taking forever!!" "I'm cold!" "I just want to go home!" "I'm TIRED!" "Maybe they don't have a finale, maybe it just goes all night!" "Oh no now we'll NEVER get to go to sleep!", we still loved the fireworks over the lake!
