shhhooooeees!

I love shoes!

Soooo. . .when it comes to that point when it's time for a pair of shoes to kick the bucket, I get a little emotional. . . .Or at least get a little camera happy.

These shoes got me through New York and San Francisco. . .

And then they just couldn't take it anymore. . .

They were good to me, and now it's time to retire them.

Goodbye shoes, thank you for keeping my feet dry. ;)

Friends

One weekend this summer I got to come up to Logan and visit my great friends Naomi and Raulon.

We had a GREAT time! Raulon watched while we painted nails and sewed and crafted our little hearts out!

Look what I made!!

I went on an adventure this summer. I decided to make a drawer and bookshelf. I needed a place to put all my dvd's and a few books and I was bored and wanted to use my AutoCad skills. SO I got to work.

Summer Collages

I wanted to make something that I could look at everyday with my collections from my adventures this summer. I make 3 collages from my New York doo-dads and 1 bigger one from my San Francisco knick knacks. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out!

I made some homemade Mod Podge: You need one bottle of Elmers School Glue and another empty container to put the finished Podge in.

1. Pour half the bottle of Elmers in the empty container.

2. Fill the Elmers bottle up with water and shake it up.

3. Then pour the rest of the Elmers bottle in the Podge bottle.

4. Shake it up and you're done!

I had some great adventures this summer!! and it's fun to be able to relive them when I look at my collages! :)
